I have twenty years of history in real estate development managing every aspect of the process including acquisition, design, entitlement, construction, lease-up, branding and exit. My experience ranges from award winning multi-family projects with a mixed-use, historical urban redevelopment component to public/private partnered commercial regional power centers.
Restaurants
Through a focus on brand authenticity, returning to core competencies and institutionalizing financial fluency throughout the organization, I became chief financial officer of a 400 unit restaurant company at age 27. Three years later I oversaw the completion of a successful financial turnaround and eventual liquidity event. Currently I am in partnership as both an operating partner and financial advisor to two award winning multi-unit restaurant groups based in Southern California.
Small Business and Mentoring
Mentoring is an opportunity for me to return the favor. Coming alongside entrepreneurs, often co-investing is super rewarding. Small business consulting is difficult as it is personal and emotional. I use a direct and honest approach to build trust and maintain efficiency while leaning on my broad experience base running all aspects of an organization.
